“Blood red cords from the ceiling and soothing chords from the organ bind together this tale of lineage and childbirth. Generations gone and unborn blend in this installation through projections and echoed scenes that occur throughout the space. The fragmented similarities and reverberations of the performance could grow in exploration, but the gripping esthetic is firmly rooted in women through gender roles, physical transformation, the weight of motherhood: things men will never truly understand, but should probably be reminded of more often.” – Lee Boyes
